DICED HAZELNUT

Diced hazelnuts are precisely chopped pieces of premium-quality Turkish hazelnut kernels (Corylus avellana), produced from carefully selected natural or blanched nuts. Processed under controlled conditions, the kernels are diced into uniform granule sizes — typically 2–4 mm, 3–5 mm, or 4–6 mm, depending on customer requirements. This precision cutting process ensures consistency in particle size, texture, and appearance, making diced hazelnuts an ideal ingredient for large-scale food production. With a moisture level below 3% and an oil content averaging 60–68%, they retain the natural aroma, taste, and nutritional benefits of the whole kernel.

Each batch of diced hazelnuts undergoes advanced sorting, sieving, and metal detection to ensure purity, safety, and compliance with international food standards such as ISO, BRC, and HACCP. They can be supplied day or lightly roasted based on customer preference. Vacuum or nitrogen-flushed packaging methods are used to preserve freshness, prevent oxidation, and extend shelf life, ensuring the product arrives in perfect condition for industrial and retail applications.

Applications and Markets: Diced hazelnuts are widely used in the confectionery, bakery, chocolate, ice cream, and cereal industries, adding texture, flavor, and visual appeal to products like pralines, energy bars, cookies, and toppings. They are also favored in gourmet food production and health-oriented snacks due to their rich protein, fiber, and vitamin E content. Turkish diced hazelnuts are highly demanded in European, North American, and Asian markets, where consistency, quality, and traceability are key for premium food manufacturing and export operations.
