NATURAL HAZELNUT
Natural hazelnut kernels are carefully shelled, raw nuts obtained from high-quality hazelnuts (Corylus avellana) grown primarily in Turkey’s Black Sea region — known for producing the world’s finest varieties. After harvesting and husk removal, the nuts are dried under natural sunlight and then mechanically cracked to separate the kernel from the shell. The kernels are then cleaned, sorted, and calibrated according to international standards, ensuring optimal purity, size uniformity, and freshness without any chemical treatment or roasting.
Available in various calibers such as 9–11 mm, 11–13 mm, and 13–15 mm (or as per customer specifications), natural hazelnut kernels are distinguished by their light brown skin, rich aroma, and high oil content — typically between 60% and 68%. The kernels maintain a natural moisture level below 6%, ensuring long shelf life and consistent quality during transport and storage. Each batch is processed under strict hygiene and food safety standards (including ISO, BRC, and HACCP certifications), making them ideal for export markets.
Applications and Markets: Natural hazelnut kernels are widely used in the confectionery, chocolate, bakery, and snack industries due to their premium flavor and nutritional value. They are also consumed as healthy snacks, rich in monounsaturated fats, vitamins E and B, and essential minerals. Global buyers from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia prefer Turkish natural hazelnut kernels for their superior taste, consistent sizing, and versatile application in high-end food production and retail sectors.
